Metalogix' SharePoint Migration Manager for Google Apps enables full fidelity content migration from Google Sites and Docs to SharePoint 2010, including metadata, versions and permissions.

Key features in the Metalogix SharePoint Migration Manager for Google Apps, include:

  • Comprehensive analysis tools to understand the content you have in Google Apps today
  • Automatic conversion of Google Docs to Microsoft Office documents during migration
  • Migration support for all Google Sites page and content types
  • Security mapping
  • Tooling to ensure consistency in user experience between Google Apps and SharePoint 2010

"Metalogix products enable migration to SharePoint 2010 from a comprehensive set of ECM source systems," said Geordie Henderson, director of ECM migration products at Metalogix. "We're very pleased to be adding Google Apps to that set, because organizations are outgrowing Google Apps and growing into SharePoint 2010. Different features drive different people to SharePoint 2010. Whether their needs are item level permissions, workflows or better branding and customization capabilities, the bottom line is that SharePoint 2010 is now the collaboration gold standard. We're especially happy to be able support all current versions of SharePoint with this release."
